Day 3

Today we welcomed my baby nephew into the world, Tucker! He is the most precious baby in the world. Atleast I think so! ;)

Fortunately, the cafeteria in the hospital had calorie counting friendly food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch and made sure I drank water frequently. The more water I drink, the less I feel hungry because hunger can be confused for thirst.

I am so thankful for my strong sister and their healthy new baby boy! Feeling good and ready to get a scale so I can see my results!

Day 2

Yesterday was the second day of my ship project. The day seemed to crawl by and I found myself sinking around 4:00! I found out that Chill has 80 calorie ice cream and it was DELISH! It definitely helped my day go by. I cooked dinner for us and it sure was yummy... It's amazing how yummy food is once you're starving. When I started counting calories I realized what it felt to be hungry again. Not only because I spaced my time between meals but I also am not eating the type of food that makes me feel more full! I feel accomplished and excited to weigh soon!

Day 1

Today I started the journey to my brand new lifestyle; I started counting calories. Today has been fairly easy because I feel like my mind is more focused on what I am doing rather than what I am eating!

I am really excited to start this new journey. I am using an app on my iPhone called "my fitness pal". Your weight and goal weight are entered and the app tells you how many calories you can have per day. I have set mine in order to lose 2 pounds per week. By the end of my SHIP project I hope to have lost 10+ pounds. I did not randomly choose this topic, it's something I have needed to do for a long time and will continue to do it for however long it takes until I reach my goal weight.

Here's to the next 4 weeks of reaching a healthier lifestyle!
