Day 27

Only 4 more days until I reach 31 days on my journey and 1 day until I've completed the number of days for my SHIP project (28). Can't believe how quickly it's gone by! Today was successful.

Day 26

I love a whopper jr from Burger King. They aren't that many calories if you leave off the cheese. That's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. Today was successful!

Day 25

Such a long day. But I stayed within my calories and wasn't too hungry. Thankful to see progress today!

Day 24

Today was successful! Stayed within my calories and didn't get too hungry at school. It was a great day!

Day 23

Well, I went over today by 25 calories. Too much macaroni and cheese at lunch but man it was yummy! I do regret it though. Over eating is totally not worth it. The regret is much stronger than the small satisfaction you get when eating it.

Day 22

I weighed today and saw lots of progress! Very thankful for that. We had lunch with my husbands parents and she cooked a calorie friendly meal. I also AVOIDED a huge piece of cake at my moms brithday party tonight!!

Day 21

Road trip today! Packed my purse with calorie friendly snacks. I also had to get late night Wendy's and still stayed in my calories.

Day 19

Today was successful. I love days off of school but temptations come easily when I don't have a set schedule!

Day 18

Thank goodness the end of the school week is here. It's been a long one and exhausting! Counting calories was good today and I am pretty sure I stayed within my range. I just had to have some fries with my grilled chicken! All together, today was a successful day.

Day 17

I love coming home to a cooked and ready meal!! My husband gets major points. Majorly exhausted today and was ready to eat at every meal cause I was starving!!

Day 16

Another successful day today but I was so hungry. I think my body is changing and my stomach is shrinking and I'm definitely having today.

Day 15

Today was a good day. I packed my lunch for school, and ate dinner at home. I'm seeing more progress and my scrubs were bigger today then they were before spring break! That was very encouraging!

Day 14

I love Sundays. They are the best day of the week. Today was pretty successful and i enjoyed the rest due to starting back to school tomorrow! I counted calories and stayed within my range.
Ready to get back to my school schedule this week and lose more weight.

Day 13

Well today was tough. I splurged. My dad grilled steaks and I thought mine was less ounces than it truly was. Then I had a baked potato... Half with only a little butter! Man it was delicious! Then mom bought cookies for dessert and I was weak and couldn't fight the urge.

I heard someone say that cheating for a day helps your body lose more weight because it revamps the weight loss process. I wonder if this is true? I'll have to see!

Day 12

Friday... The day most tempting to splurge a little... But I didn't! And I'm so proud of myself :) I had a delicious smoothie for a snack after having tomato soup for lunch and it sure was good. Smoothie King has some yummy things that are not high in calories. For dinner, Corey and I ate a salad and broccoli soup from panera... Which is hands down, the best spot to eat when counting calories; as long as you stay away from the bakery goodies! We did a lot of walking as well due to looking to buy a new tv. And we found one! Finding ways to get some exercise in my day without having to block out a certain amount of time... And that was a great way to do it!

Day 11

Counting calories isn't so bad but I have to make sure that I'm putting the right calories in my body. I found  some amazing sandwich buns that were only 100 calories and they are delicious! I really enjoyed my lunch yesterday. Also, willy Ts has some yummy grilled chicken fingers! Feeling smaller each day! Today will be a good day. I'll blog about it tomorrow!

Day 10

I found a new low calorie meal today that is so yummy! I can have half a bowl of broccoli soup and half of a asain sesame chicken salad from panera bread for very few calories! Yum! My grandma made the best vegetable soup for dinner and I even had enough calories to have some cornbread. Yum! It's been a good day. Looking forward to weighing on Monday and seeing my progress of two full weeks!

Also I got 2 compliments today saying how I look like I'm losing! YAY!

Day 9

Hands down, today was the toughest day yet. I had a pinch of a cookie brownie, a blueberry muffin (very small might I add) and 2 chocolate chip cookies. BUT I did count the calories and I wasn't over. My meals were low enough in calories that it balanced out. I also went to our Sping break get together and felt like I splurged a little there. When the meal is potluck it's easy to just pick up different things and not really pay a attention but I feel like I did okay.

Definitely going to work harder and smarter tomorrow!

Day 8

I wanted every snack I could get my hands on today. It was definitely one of my hardest days. I had to go pick up lunch for my brother in law and had to smell the hot, salty French fries in my car. My mouth just started watering again!! Hoping that my food cravings aren't as tough today. My weigh is still going down and feeling great!

Day 7

I weighed again today just to see my progress and I've lost 2 more pounds! That's a total of 4 since Thursday, February 21st. I love seeing progress.

This morning we had church and I had a 100 calorie Greek yogurt for breakfast which filled me up. I'm guessing my stomach is getting smaller each day. We came home for lunch and cooked then we went to my grandmothers for dinner!

My grandma loves to cook with lots of butter... But she's been so sweet to accommodate for me! My tummy was full and everyone was happy! :)

Day 6

I just love Saturdays. I love being home and resting in the mornings... I especially used to love the cinnamon rolls id cook for my husband and I. But, the smarter choice was made today with just an egg omelette! Which was still very yummy. I'm finding out that counting calories isn't so bad because you can still eat great tasting good and all I have to do is count the calories! Lunch was a grilled chicken salad and I still had enough calories for supper to get a Chicken Bowl from Chipotle which was delish!

Day 5

Today was spent at the hospital helping my sister get ready to go home! I was definitely active and walked those halls more than I thought possible! I for sure burned some calories then. My mind has been so preoccupied that my brain isn't thinking about hunger. It's honestly been quite easy, especially with my calorie counting app.

I weighed today and I am down 2 pounds in a week! I love seeing progress.

Day 4

Day 4 proved to be a challenging one. After a long night at the hospital, I knew the next day would be challenging. Thankfully this day was a school day and having things to do keep me from thinking about being hungry! Days with class I take a breakfast bar and water and usually pack my lunch which makes counting calories much easier. Let's see how this weekend goes!
